[RC] Endurance dangerous? <Was: Philosophy and goals in distance riding!> - Diane Trefethen

It's funny how different disciplines view each other.
Carolyn Burgess

It is funny because Endurance CAN be dangerous for our horses but not at all for the reasons most outsiders believe. What is dangerous isn't the course/trail or the distance or the heat and humidity. It is the ignorance of those few riders who do not spend enough time conditioning, learning, listening to their horses and then riding them to the level that they HAVE been conditioned. THOSE horses are definitely in danger.
