Yep...... and I have a few gallons if anybody is interested??? ;-))) 
The articles and books I've read on nutrition all state that if you are
feeding a ration (hard feed), then it has to be balanced in everything
and then you don't have to give any extra.  Of course it depends on the
actual quality of the ingredients.  Good hay / grazing and good
ingredients in the hard feed will give you all the vitamins and minerals
needed.

Copper deficiency has also been mentioned as a cause for anemia.>>

Yes, but then you start looking at different minerals working against
each other if the entire spoonful wasn't formulated by a very clever
person!
