Oh, and BTW, I think Shaygas are great horses. I wish my hubby would  
let me breed my mare to one. Saw a bunch of them at the Equine Affair  
and drooled.
Most of my friends are LD riders. They are great riders, the only  
difference between them and me is that they prefer to ride shorter  
differences than I do in competition due to various reasons. That's  
all. They are fantastic horseman, so I don't think any less of LD  
riders.  It's just a different title to delineate a different  
distance. I don't know why the big deal all the time about LD vs.  
endurance. It's silly.
