Re: [RC] coggins tests - Truman Prevatt

In the SE you get an health certificate and apply for an interstate equine passport that is good in about 10 or 12 states for six months. In FL the interstate passport cost 15 bucks for the first horse and 5 for each additional horse.

In most states a coggins is good for a year. In some it is only good for six months.

Hi all,
how do you ridecampers that go from state to state each monch for rides,
deal with the coggins testing? Do you have to get a new coggins test
every 30 days? I was told here (CA.) it costs $100- for one coggins?! Do
you have to pay this on top of your entry fees every 30 days to be able
to do rides out of state? How does this work? Thanks, Tara
