julie, just curious as to why you are so adamant about not lunging a 6 month old colt. i guarantee you that he is out there running tight circles around his mom at some point, not a lot of difference in what he would be doing on a leadline, so i sure dont see anything wrong with lunging him a bit. as for ponying him 2-3 miles, if he is doing well with it, shouldnt be a problem. those kids have lots of energy. cowboy ed
