mel, i'm here to tell you that i enjoyed the child i had at 36 soooo much more than the one i had at nineteen....don't let anyone pressure you into "foaling" before you're ready!!
<G> also you might tell your husband what i told mine.."i "ain't" happy without horses and riding and if i'm not happy you sure won't be either!! he won't ever ride but he's quick now to fix fences, help feed, haul hay, etc. the man appreciates a peaceful home life.
some of us are horse people. it's just what we are and to ask us to just give it up is asking us to not be complete. hang in there.

I guess that sounded a bit harsher than I meant it to. I just worry about the whole "lifestyle change." I just got things going right! I need to enjoy it for a few years.
