==========================================

Most shipping companys do not recommend wrapping for long
distances because of the chances for the wraps slipping and or
becoming too tight if the horse stocks up. In addition,
an incorrect wrap job is worse than no wraps at all. If you
want to protect your horses legs when shipping then just buy
commercial shipping boots, you can't get them to tight and they
are easy to do.

With that said, I would strongly recommend that you learn how
to wrap legs so you can do so if needed. I will give you a tip
on the wrapping that I don't usually see in magazine articles-
the tighter the bandage is wrapped before you put it on the
better the wrap on the leg. Also make sure the edges are even
on the roll before you put it on the horse. It takes practice,
practice, practice to do it correctly. If you are doing standing
wraps use the correct bandage-standing bandages not polo wraps.
They won't offer the correct support.
