[RC] diagnosis on facial speed hump - rides2far@xxxxxxxx

Finally took Kaboot to the vet. He looked at that big speedbump going across
his forehead and really looked puzzled. Got the impression he hadn't seen many
of those. I told him some had suggested that cancer in the sinus cavity might
be pushing up but he thumped it with his finger and said, "Dont' think so, it
sounds hollow"...I KNEW IT! I'd always wondered if there was anything in that
head! Actually, he said something like he probably got a blow and it calcified
now or something like that. (if that's a rediculous statement I probably got it
wrong, not him) The diagnosis was, "Maybe it'll go away, maybe not". Doesn't
bother him and it's well hidden under that unicorn forelock so I'm relieved.
:-) (photos available upon request)

P.S. I really went because he had an abcess that just wouldn't come out despite
soaking, wrapping, digging. He hit it and it *spewed*. I'm glad. It's so sad to
see an alpha horse terrorizing his tiny herd on 3 legs!
