Silly people. Horses drink out of mud puddles..............because
they can't reach the handle on the drinking fountain. Dr Q,
professional equine re-hydrater.
I have a gelding who can and does open water faucets, plunges his
head underneath the spray, drinks awhile, then
leaves.
Now, if only I could teach him to turn the blasted things
OFF again.
And this is a horse we've discounted as an eventing prospect because
he doesn't "do" water.
Go figure....(seems I say that a lot about this particular
horse)
