[RC] OT I'm guilty Laney and Bruce - rides2farYa'll would not believe the e-mail I got from my *wimpiest* brother today! It was titled "If women ruled the world" and had a list of photos attached that made the Chevy ad look like NOTHING! I was *so* tempted to send it to those of you who hated this the worst and give you his e-mail address! >eg< For instance one photo showed 2 car dealerships but instead of name brands on the signs it read "Blue Cars" and "Red Cars" and each lot had only blue or red. (we are too dumb to notice anything but color, right?) Another had a tachometer with little comments like "scarey" , "bite lip", and "close eyes" as the rpms got higher. The funniest thing about this is that my brother is a 5'3" computer geek who's never driven anything bigger than a Toyota and I could have beat arm wrestling at any point in our histories. While I was out running the hills, he just sat and practiced his piano lessons. :-) Just remember the CHEVY TRUCK didn't make the ad. Some little geek in an ad agency...probably in New York thought it up...probably the same guy who picked the prissy models they dressed up for those Stetson cologne ads. >G< It's really kinda sad when you think about it. I doubt my brother has ever even checked his own oil. P.S. Though Bruce is tall...and quite blonde...he has no hint of a German accent!
