I broke the  head of my humerous and  dislocated my
shoulder when my daughter, now seven, was 3 months old. It was the most
painful injury I've ever been through and stayed with me a long
time.  I didn't ride for 3 months, which is what the orthopedist
recommended, but I don't think I got back on the trail for a long time
after. I had a lot of  fear issues that kept me from  jumping
right back in.
