Considering the fact that it is winter time "here at home" and, as a
consequence, there aren't all that many rides here to focus on (however, if
you are interested in reports, etc. of some of the ones that are going on
here in So. Cal., you can find a link to a report and photos from Karen
Chaton about the Eastern Mojave Ride on the Enduranc.Net home page, and you
won't have to look very far (go to the events link) to find links to many
other US rides.

Add to that the fact that both John and Steph are currently IN the Middle
East so, in a way, currently it IS based out of the Middle East; however, I
do not think that they have emigrated there, so I suspect that this "middle
east basing" is a temporary thing.

You are unlikely to find any other sites that are addressing US rides,
since there really aren't all that many US rides going on right now; but if
it is that important to you, you can find a more direct US focus at
www.aerc.org.

I suppose that the endurance.net homepage could also, instead, provide
links and references to the usual winter time debates about issues such as
LD v. Endurance, barefoot endurance, ... :).

What ride/issue were you hoping to find on the endurance.net homepage that
you couldn't find, and perhaps somebody here can direct you more
specifically.
