[RC] Frigid Digit or Sweet Talker Farms?? - cschiroI am the person who did a post a couple weeks ago about buying a horse on the internet and not acutally riding or seeing the horse in person. I got a 95% positive response to this method. Well I think I found my dream horse. It is a 13 hour drive for me to see him so I really don't want to drive out there to look at him if I don't HAVE to. He is being sold by Melissa Becker of Sweet Talker Farms in Gainesville, TX. I have a very good feeling talking to Melissa about her, her farm/business, and the horse. And I feel 90% confortable just purchasing the horse sight unseen and having it shipped to Florida. In an abundance of caution (I don't want to sell another horse that turns out not suitable), does anyone know of Melissa Becker, her farm, or of the horse in question. His registered name is Ibn Ionah, aka "Silver". He's a flea-bitten grey 14.2 arab gelding. He did the 25 miler at the FRIGID DIGIT ride in TX on Feb 5th. Did anyone see this horse in person? He was ridden by Melissa's husband, Wayne. If so, I am wondering how he acted and if anything stood out (good or bad). You may email me privately if you wish.
