This is an ad I've placed in the Endurance.net Classifieds.  It is for a 
saddle I put on eBay, and would be an inexpensive saddle for casual use - 
or, for the right horse, a light weight endurance saddle.

British universal pattern type saddle. Likely a model made in early 1900s 
for European military use. Good for trail riding/trekking, endurance riding 
and general riding. This is an eBay bid item! Bid at

Seat measures 19" from pommel to cantle. Bar length 22"
Lightweight ( approx. 25 lbs w/o stirrups).
Modified seat - the slots in the back of the cantle frame have been covered.
Seat leather is marred - scratches, cosmetic only.
Leather has been sewn over the felt pads and extended to form an inner flap.
New, unused felt on bars.
O-rings on rear and front of bars (both sides)and under the rear of the 
cantle (for securing a saddle blanket). 2 slots on either side of pommel 
arch for attaching straps.
No stirrups or leathers.
Western rigging with latigo and string girth.
The modifications have been professionally done.
Unknown if it is British-made or Indian-made (or other).
