RE: [RC] steves' remark seeing Paladin on the trail again - Ronald Sanches

Posts of this nature bring Ridecamp to a new low. It ranks along with what
is loosely referred to as tabloid journalism - meant to inflame, insult,
demean and rally others to the same low cause, to say nothing of publicly
exposing another's unfortunate experience.
Please do not defend this original post as 1) I was only interested in
the horse's welfare 2) That's not what I really meant to say
3) You didn't read what I wrote. 4) That wasn't my intention

Bev Gray is a fine competitor who has been on the national and
international scene for many years. Her horse AA Omner is the 1996 AERC
Hall of Fame horse. The insinuation in the post "where was Bev" as well as
remarks regarding her position on the Horse Welfare Committee and your
attempt to rally others to your unfounded and insulting cause are beyond
ridiculous.

I am highly offended that in addition to having the experience of having
her horse fall prey to an as yet undiagnosed, serious problem at the venue
(which appears to have been treated successfully), that Bev must "endure"
the viciousness this forum seems to generate from time to time. Bev Gray
is owed an apology.
