We call that Pop-beads.  Where the horses want to travel nose to tail, as if 
they were pop-beads strung together.  (it's a good thing we're an older crowd, 
I bet at least half of you even remember pop-beads)  It's okay if the horses 
and riders involved are all comfortable with it.  My girlfriend's mare likes 
to pop-bead on mine, but it depends on which mare I'm riding, because one of 
mine hates her mare!  jeri
