Lud has a titanium plate in his ankle, plus 10 screws, to patch up a double fracture.  It's been two years now and he doesn't even notice the plate.  I can tell by tapping on his ankle and it is harder than just bone.

I just keep trying to find time to schedule to have mine out.
I have never had plates for my collarbone fractures, one big one and one greenstick fracture but I have two titanium plates in my knee and they have never bothered me a bit..........mb
