 Hi Dolly,

 Thanks for the refreshing post.  I agree with you
 as far as doing the right thing for the individual
 animal.  I use the term animal because I ride both
 horses and mules.  My husband is also a farrier and 
 we never do the same thing as far as shoeing, or not
 shoeing, with every animal that we ride.  I love your
 sense of humor, Dolly.  I have one very fond memory
 of you; my husband, Matt, and I were on the trail up to
 Deadwood and you were all by yourself coming the
 opposite direction on your stallion, of course, and
 you went up on the cliffside and let us pass by.  No
 questions or problems, you are a true horsewoman.
 Back to the subject, I guess, each horse, mule, whatever you
 choose to ride, is SUBJECT to time to try, try and try again
 to figure out what is best for that particular animal.
