Yup, I stay out of state parks during deer hunting
season too! Although we are a bit luckier here that we
do have a section of our local state park that is off
limits to hunters and it's far enough away from the
hunting areas you don't have to worry a bout stray
bullets. But I still wear blaze orange and put bells
on my horse!

I live close enough to the Kansas City Metro area that
we can ride in parks in the city limits where hunting
isn't allowed.
