[RC] this is one enlightened vet! - Ed Kilpatrick

i guess the reason so many barefoot enthusiasts want to talk about mustang feet is because most mustangs have really good, tough feet.  and while it is true that wild horses dont go at a thundering gallop across the mountains for hundreds of miles,   they are out there in all kinds of rugged terrain, 24/7.
then when you get one of them that was raised up out there in that rugged terrain,  train him and ride him in endurance rides,   then you can begin making a fair comparison.   i am not a barefoot enthusiast, but i ride my mustangs barefoot unless the terrain is rocky, including gravel roads.   we have done 50 miles, even 75 miles, barefoot, but i dont have any problems nailing shoes on them when i need to.      cowboy ed
