Funny, the car thing is exactly what my husband used when I told him about the discussion. he said...well I am at greater risk when I drive 100 miles to visit my parents than when I drive 25 miles to go buy underwear!!

the risk is still small but larger
than if i drive to the end of the drive way.
if i drive to a place i often ride (thirty two miles one way) the risk is going to be larger than if i drive to town or down the drive.
<laughing> hasn't happened yet and i'm super careful pulling my horse on those hills and curves but the risk IS larger. of course if i drove a hundred miles an hour from the house to town i guess the risk would be more than me driving carefully the thirty two miles. makes sense to me.
