Also, instead of BC, why not just post the vet scores and what place the 
horse came in?  This lets you know how you and others are doing.  This also 
might stop the racing to be number one at your horses expense.   If you came 
in first, but had the lowest vet scores, it might shame you into taking 
better care of your horse in the future. 

That's how I always worked the BC scores.  I always announced scores for
everyone who judged, and started from the lowest score and worked up. 
It was a pretty good and none too subtle message when the first-place
horse would be the first horse announced with, say, a 500 BC score--and
then the scores jumped up into the high 600s and the 700s...  Yep, LD BC
can be a GREAT educational tool... :-)
