I carry on my saddle granola bars, maybe some trail mix (especially if it has chocolate in the mix) & Cyto-max or Gatorade in my water bottles, mixed with about 30% more water than called for. Haven't had to plan for dinner yet, maybe next year. I have to agree with Joe Long on this. I don't eat much on a 100. I like a good meal with substance the night before and good breakfast about an hour and 1/2 before I start. But once on the trail I become pretty picky - a hard boiled egg here and there, some nuts, an apple, some cheese but not much more. If I eat a lot I usually will lose it. However, I drink copious amounts of water.
