[RC] LDs - KYielding

Subject: [RC]   LD's...I mean endurance....

Well, there are folks who won't like your idea, but of course, you darn well know that.  Personally my problem has always been with the "L" word.  I am older and have a variety of infirmities but really hate for anyone to refer to me as "L"ed in any way.  I had hoped to move up to 50 this year but had the other knee replaced in Feb. instead.  Maybe next year I'll become a real endurance rider.  As of now I refer to myself as a 25 or 30 mile distance rider.  Just can't say that "L" word.  :>)

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -- WOW -- what a ride!
