==========================================

I really respect Dr Garlinghouse and love her informative site. Beet pulp has
been working out great for us. My gelding used to crib his brains out but now
he is calm as can be and turning from a hard keeper into a chunky monkey.
I consider the risk minimal and the benefits outweigh it. I am sure there are
isolated cases where there's a problem. You never know what causes a horse
problems. Our mare had several colic episodes (she had never gotten sick before
as long as we've had her) and after a nice fat vet bill we found out it was a
reaction to a joint supplement. Will I give my mare joint supplements again? I
think not. But I am sure it's a great product for lots and lots of other
horses. :)
