[RC] re: warning Beet pulp or beet pulp +rice bran? - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I've been thinking about this warning and the "thinks the beet pulp stuck, like
peanut butter" statement --I have not known beet pulp to seem particularly
sticky, I think it is less so than say soaked alfalfa pellets at they dry, but
I have noticed that when adding rice bran to beet pulp, what does not get eaten
up while good and wet will turn almost to wallpaper paste.

So perhaps a better q. "is there a danger feeding ground, then soaked products
because they get pasty as they dry?" and then "do some products make a
particurlary sticky paste &/or dry out quicker and increase risks over others?"

Not an issue for me, I dont have hard keepers or put enough miles on anything
that I have any need to keep beet pulp in front of them. They get a wee bit of
b/p for acclimation during the months when I'm traveling to endurance/LD rides
since its such a handy v/c snack, but never more than they'll clean up in
several minutes.
