I used the Endurance cool grip "long" under my Big
Horn. Works very well under the traditional "western" style endurance saddles. I
changed my saddle out to billets, instead of latigos, and having the pad come
down on the horses sides protects him from the billets, cinch rings, and
underside of fenders from rubbing. Using the "long" also keeps the Sug Pack
saddle bag/pack from rubbing his back.(also keeps jacket tied on back from
getting sweaty!)
