Subject: legalities

If putting on  a ride, ect. -  ( public or private land )  wonder how signed release would ' hold up'  -
You are about to be involved in a possibly dangerous  activity; pursuit of entertainment.
You acknowedge this and of your own "free will", understanding of such  'dangers'; accept that responsibility, and all risk that are inherent to this pursuit. Plainly said, you, nor your heirs,  may not  bring a lawsuit, sue the organizer, any landowner, or worker. You are responsable for yourself and your horse. And understand that sometimes --- Accidents / unforeseen occurences  happen.!
We can not foresee, or control all ground conditions, hazards, other peoples' actions, or your horses' behavior or that of others. Willful or accidental. We will try to provide a 'safe' enviroment, but there are no guarentees.
You may be riding in areas   -far removed from any access to phones, much less, medical care.   The result could be  Serious Injury / Death.  You acknowledge this. And accept full responsibilty for your decisions to participate. You fully agree with this.
--  on the subject of liability and responsibility.  =
It was a wonderful soap box talk about how we need to take =
responsibility for our own actions as riders and quit blaming other =
folks for our mistakes and accidents with horses and not be so ready to =
sue everyone.
Of course, personally, believe all lawyers who represent a "suit" should have to pay all cost involved, defense included, and extra pay - income lost defending such. if they lose. May change some of those that are "suit happy."   whether horse related or other...JMHO.. Stephanie M
