Anyway I got a chance to see the Aquasizers (spelling ?)while in the UAE but
never got to see it used. This sounds like a super combo machine. We are always
trying to add new levels to our training. Up hill, down hill, lope, jog,
sprint, walk, head up, no down, it is so hard to work all the muscle groups.
And the bigest problem is getting my old racehorse to use her left lead. She is
so one sided. Ahhhh the reprogram period.>

Don't do the underwater treadmill. It DOES use different muscle groups--in the
wrong way. Overbuilds the antagonists. For forward motion the horse uses
agonists--muscles behind the legs, basically. The under water treadmill offers
resistance exercise to the to antagonists--muscles in front of the legs. Lots
of time in an aquatread give you a horse set up to go backward, muscularly.

Better otions are a used high speed treadmill or one of those big "flyswatter"
exercise devices with the biggest radius you can find. Looks like a bunch of
cages in a merry go round under a roof. Horses can safely gallop in them
without restraints of any kind. The sell for about $15K. For in-depth info,
talk to Leonie at Leonie@xxxxxxxxxxxx Also, next to me, she has the most
experience in the US conditioning race horses on high speed treadmills and
she'll talk all day.
