Re: [RC] Dogs/Horse Wormer valuble info.. - Shauna Jannett

A good sized research project is underway to help determine what drugs etc are causing problems.
As an example one of my aussies lines is carrying the Mutated gene, including him! My other tested negative along with my slew of border collies. My breeder encouraged us all to test our "kids" to be safe she was surprised to have the whole lot come back positive!
Now when I take that dog in our vet knows and it is also listed on his Microchip info as well as his license info with our pound just as an extra precaution - to me it's almost like knowing you have a peneciline allergy the more people who know the less likely there is to be a problem in future

there is all the info on the tests - if you own a herding breed or herding breed cross I would recommend spending the money. It could easily save a life!
