[RC] sorry, more saddle ? - Jonni

I am looking for advice on a saddle for my husband. He is falling off all
the time trying to ride in my english saddles that are a size too small for
him.<<<

Unless the horse he rides is being very naughty, and doing things to dump
him, I'd suggest that before you look for the perfect saddle for him, to
maybe invest in some more lessons to have someone work on his balance etc.
You don't want him to learn to depend on a saddle for his balance when
riding. I think that those of us who learned to ride bareback, or english,
often have a better seat and balance over all, and can then handle those
naughty movements horses often dish out.

I remember as a kid having to go around the ring on my english saddle with
my hands out to the sides, eyes closed, feet out of stirrups, and going over
jumps. Made me really ride. Of course, some 35 years later, I don't think I
would be as excited about that as I was as a kid. It was FUN!
