I just assume most here know that they have a vast Thoroughbred 
racing and breeding empire, too.  The three eldest brothers, Mohammad, Hamdan, 
and Maktoum own 
more farmland in Kentucky than anyone
else - their farms and stables are like palaces - they own farms/racing 
stables in Australia, US, Europe, and Japan - Sheikh Mohammad is the
leader in this venture to and he owns the sire of Smarty Jones ) to put it
in mainstream perspective (Elusive Quality - a horse with an est. value 
of 40 million dollars)- and he runs TB racing in Dubai 
(where on one day they give out 13 million dollars in purses)...
they spend about 50 million dollars each year at
American TB yearling sales...
so he knows ALL about flat racing.
