[RC] Ready for 120 K - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

Gentlemen,

I have started training my horse (6 years old) 5 months ago. Starting walk then
trot for long distance one hour per day for two months. Then, I increased the
distance and speed gradually with monitoring heart performance.

Now, for the last two month, my horse run 16 KM (10 mile) mainly canter every
day of week except one day Friday (rest day)- It means he cover 180 KM per two
weeks -at speed 18-20 KM/Hour and with a good and healthy condition and his
pulse rate after every exercise in range of 50-55.

My question: is my horse ready for 120 KM?>

You've brought the horse a very long way in a very short period of time. He may
well survive a 120K, but is, perhaps, ready for 90K. The reason I say "perhaps"
is that more info is needed than what you have given. I would be concerned that
the animal has been moved along too quickly--but there are ways of determining
that. Feel free to contact me directly for further discussion.
