Actually, it wasn't me that made the above statement about being LDers being set aside in favor of longer distances...I was quoting someone else who said that.  I stated that here in CT region, all distances are treated alike and wait in line together, although I've occasionally had LDers waiting for completion offer to let me vet through ahead of them when I'm doing a 50, and I've done the same for longer distances when I'm doing LD if there's a long line.
