[RC] Virginia City 100 - Lucy Chaplin Trumbull

VC100 (Nevada) was won by Kristan Flynn riding
Ravi Das, followed by (I may have the exact order
wrong/missed someone out, since I'm trying to do
this from memory):

BC went to (HW) Ken MacKenzie.

53 started, 14 were pulled for a 76% completion rate.
No horses were treated. The weather was almost perfect -
70s with a light breeze (although it was *windy* on top
of the ridges). Evening temps were in the low 50s.
Completely clear sky with a big fat moon that was
absolutely beautiful shining out on the Nevada desert.

Lots of tight rear ends and several horses wearing
EZ boots for bracelets, after wearing through the
bottoms of them by 77 miles - VC is *rocky*.

The VC100 basecamp is currently endangered, so it's
not certain if they will be able to continue to start
this great ride down Virginia City Main Street in the
future :(
