Re: [RC] re: fear/thanks - jen

Carla, great idea.  I've been looking for a good excuse to buy a flask anyways...now I have one.  I think I'm going to try cinnamon schnapps, mmmm.

Hey, Jen,

My own favorite 'drink' for courage is brandy!  I take a flask with me when I ride -- it's a nice thing to settle your nerves or warm you up on a cold day!

Have a GREAT GREAT ride!  And I sure hope Natalie gets in touch with you --
Happy Trails,
Carla Richardson

I just want to say thanks to everybody.  I was going to list everyone by name, but I figured that would waste alot of space.  So....I will just a BIG   THANKS!!!  to everybody who offered me advice and congrats on my accomplishment.  I will be riding with a friend tomorrow evening and I'll let all of you know how it goes.

stacy, thanks for the advice about the vodka--that was one thing I hadn't tried!  :)

Natalie--thanks goodness, I was starting to worry about finding a mentor.  I live in Mckinleyville..we truly are close.  I would love to work/ride with you.    What distance of rides do you do?  I know about R.E.E.R.  I helped the vet at the Orick ride two years ago.  That is where my passion came from.  I guess email me and let me know how to get started with you.  thanks in advance for 5 million questions I'm going to ask you.  :)))
