Endurance.Net Ridecamp Archives

In the West region, and probably others, there have been rides that offer a rider a 
choice: a completion award or a certificate of completion for a reduced entry fee. 
The cost diff isn't great but hey, in this day and age, every penny counts.

As to the LD riders... the posts complaining about the cost for newbies... well, 
that's the price to be paid to give "career" LD riders awards.  You just can't have 
it both ways.  Either the 25ish mile rides are to introduce riders to Endurance (and 
the "Fun Rides" do NOT do that on any level), or they aren't.  Right now, in regions 
outside the West, they aren't.
