[RC] Injury - sandy . l . holder

2 years ago a good friend of mine's Appaloosa shredded his deep digital flexor tendon (spelling here might be off).  Anyway, UC Davis said he'd probably NEVER be sound again.  She religiously followed directions they gave her (locked him in a 12 x 12 stall for the first phase) then opened the door to include his 12 x 12 paddock, then hand walked him and a year later, he is sound and ultrasound shows 'healed'.  What I didn't mention was that TWICE A DAY for the whole year for 20 minutes, she used lightwave therapy - it had a specific name but I can't remember what it was but I can get it from her if you like.

Anyway, he's now being ridden by her grandkids. . . so don't give up hope just because, but DO get good specialized advice, follow it and don't ignore some of the 'developing technologies' that are out there.  You can e-mail me privately if you'd like more info.

Good luck,
Sandy
