The President of the US and FEMA and HOME LAND SECURITY knew, they were briefed on exactally what would happen in New Orleans if a catagory 4 or above hurricane would hit, right down to the levies failing and the body count. Go hide your head in the sand and pray a natural dissaster does not hit your town. And the Army Corp of Engineers was adamant about the potential, particularly with a severe storm season prediction, when their funding was cut. They (George Bush, FEMA, HOME LAND SECURITY and on down the chain) gambled, even though the odds were stacked against them. They were gambling with our money, too. With the warm water temp in the Atlantic, this is probably just be the first of many bad storms of the year....
