In our area, in our nearby state park, the California Grizzly lived; went extinct (with help of people) about 100 years ago. Two local men were 1) killed and 2) maimed (lost his leg) as a result of grizzly attacks. Now tell me that re-introducing the grizzly bear into a state park is a smart thing to do.
