Like Ed said, the brakes are in the U.S. The other features, like the brakes, would cost more. I am assuming that is why they aren't so popular here. In other countries, they don't have the options we do for towing vehicles. As I said before, we have heavier trailers with more luxuries here "because we can". ;-)
