They feel the tendons WHILE the horses's trot? They must be fast ;).

I'm not saying that they can't see a big lameness on a straight trot, THREE horses at a time, but we both know that a very slight lameness will not show up on a straight trot (even if its one horse trotting at a time).  For people who don't do their own lameness exams  (watch their horse trot in a circle) and just rely on ride vets to tell them their horse is sound, they're missing a big piece of the picture and I'm sure most ride vets would TELL them that.
