[RC] Heart rate recovery by touch - Steve Elliot \(Equine Performance\)patty> You can get your horse's heart rate recovery much more accurate and faster by the use of the ekg heart monitors, you can while you ride your horse do a CRI TOO All in my book " Heart of the Matter" and heatIndex of a working horse and the Index Chart what your doing by touch is ok but it mechanical pulse, electric blood flow is pretty much the way to detect heart rate in all labs and hospitals down to the beat, better yet you can see this on the screen live.
