especially if you click on "newbie" and on "referrence" then on 
"library."  There is also lots of great information on http://aerc.org/
just click on interesting souncs buttons and you'll find good stuff.

My best advice is to find a mentor in your area who will help.  And 
remember, slow is much better than fast, specially for an older horse. 
It may be hard to persuade him of that since he has already done some 
endurance but you'll both be better off in the long run!
