The more riders we showcase the sport of endurance to, the more potential
long distance riders will be out there.   They have to start somewhere.


Bingo. And I think it's much better for potential new riders learn from experienced endurance riders and from the endurance vets about the sport by showing up to a fun ride than to learn from it "from some guy down at the feed store" or the "vet tech where they take their dog."
