Re: [RC] Hilason saddles - Karen Sullivan

Hi Maggie,

If you visit the treelesss saddle group on yahoo,there have been some
discussions about Hilason, you can see in the archives.

Apparently folks have tried to contact them for more information and gotten
nowhere.  The first ones that popped up on ebay looked like Torsion copies;
now they make a Bob Marshall Sport saddle copy.  While I have not seen one
in person, the photos worry me as I have seen narrow pommels, uneven fronts,
etc.; possibly stirrups hung too far forward.

I would not purchase one unless there is a money back guarantee and return
policy.

With one of the "hard pommel" models, you definatley want to make sure it is
not too narrow for the horse.
