[RC] Mariposa Run for the Gold Results/stats - Carol Suggs
Weather was wonderful. Thanks to all for being so
kind to me as a greenie ride secretary. Riders came in quick to
the 1st check as the weather was a little cool in the morning and things got a
little stacked up, but everyone was gracious. A little bobble with some
trail marking...but hey thats what makes it exciting right!?
Starts for the 50's were at 6am, Starts for the LD were at 615am
Many were shedding their clothes by the first vet check as
the weather warmed up.
Congrats to all who completed, and well wishes to those
that pulled.
LD: 26 starts 1 pull
50 Miler: 79 starts, 65 finish, 14 pulls

5 Juniors competed (3 in the LD, 2 in the 50) ALL COMPLETED and were
awarded JR completion certificates .
A TOP HORSE AWARD was given in the LD and was a toss up between two Juniors
with Anthony Holl getting the award for his horse
Results should be in to AERC by end of the week, thanks again everyone for
coming out and supporting the ride. Our 4H kids really appreciated the
money you spent at the silent auction! Loved to see you all come out again
next year.
