[RC] Happy Jack Ride - Joe LongI attended the Happy Jack ride near Laramie, Wyoming this past weekend. It was a great ride, well managed, beautiful trails and a nice day. Plenty of water -- too much, in fact, the ride site had been under a couple of feet of snow a week before and there were some tough bogs. I only rode the first day, they had 36 start the 50 and I believe more than fifty riders starting the 25. I'm sorry but I don't have results. I had a great day. Sanshra lost a shoe on the first loop but an Easyboot Epic took care of that. Sanshra and I were First Place on the 50, and Sanshra also won Best Condition. They gave out some "unique" awards, and the First Place award was really neat -- a plaque with a fossil millions of years old!
