Re: [RC] Envious of '05 Tevis riders... - Beth Bliss

I agree.  It was wonderful completing last year on Corduroy Knickers, my then 17 year old 1/2 mustang/1/2 arab.  The trail oozes history as you traverse it.  The cheering crowds made me feel surreal.   And, I have a greater respect for horses in general than I ever had before.

I also have pulled back and am focusing on other things.  I didn't get a divorce, (my husband may have wished for it)  but I have partnered up with another lady to produce clicker-training videos and have witnessed the birth of my first foal since Corduroy was born.  If the planets are in alignment (or whatever it takes), she and I will mark the 60th running of the Tevis with our efforts there together.

Good luck to all.  Nothing is ever lost by trying.

Subject: [RC] Envious of '05 Tevis riders...

Well, a year has almost gone after completing Tevis on Gorgeous George (the mustang) last July. Whom ever quoted that "Tevis will change your life" was most certainly correct in that statement!
