[RC] re: brand inspections - Jonni

Once again, talk with the 2001 XPers.<<<


In 2001, We had the brand inspector come TO the ride, as we entered WY (I
think the first day...can't remember) to inspect and issue brand inspections
for those of us who had horses from states that did not require brand
inspections.  In 2004, they came to the beginning of the ride in NV to do
the same for the riders still needing papers.  TX does not have "brand
inspections", but that did not mean my TX horses did not need them to travel
across the state. I had to show my coggins and health cert, and I think reg.
papers if registered. If we wanted perm. brand inspection papers, I think I
remember we could also submit photos of the horses. (little fuzzy on that
part)

But sorry Truman, they would not care where you were from....
